Zaditor Eye DropsThe all-day or all-night solution to itchy eyes
Take control of itchy eyes all-day or all-night with Zaditorthe first non-prescription eye drop strong enough to last up to 12 hours with just one drop.
Most over-the-counter (OTC) eye allergy drops provide only short-term relief and require frequent re-dosing. Now, with Zaditor antihistamine eye drops, there's no need to re-dose. Just one powerful drop lasts up to 12 hours. So you no longer need to carry eye drops everywhere you go.
Available OTC in original prescription strength
People everywhere can get original prescription strength Zaditor without a prescription. Available OTC at retail outlets nationwide, Zaditor eye drops contain the same prescription strength formula that physicians have known and trusted since 1999.
Zaditor eye drops vs. the leading OTC eye allergy drops
Most OTC eye drops contain an antihistamine and a vasoconstrictor. Vasoconstrictors (decongestants) work by constricting blood vessels (vasoconstriction) to reduce the appearance of redness in the eye. These products can cause rebound redness for a period of time after discontinuation when overused.
Zaditor antihistamine eye drops are unlike most OTC eye allergy medications which contain a vasoconstrictor. Instead, Zaditor contains an antihistamine that relieves the itch in minutes plus a mast cell stabilizer to keep it working for up to 12 hourswith just one drop!
Important differences between Zaditor and leading OTC eye allergy drops

How Zaditor eye drops work
Zaditor eye drops block and prevent the release of histamines in three ways.

| 1. |
An antihistamine relieves the itch in minutes. |
| 2. |
Mast cell stabilizers prevent the itch from returning for up to 12 hours. |
| 3. |
Late-phase reactions are stopped by preventing the release of chemical mediators, called eosinophils. |
How to use Zaditor eye drops
It's important to wash your hands before applying eye drops.
TILT your head back and look upward. Use your fingers to gently press the skin just beneath the lower eyelid, then pull the lower eyelid away from the eye to make a space.
HOLD the dropper above your eye and squeeze one drop into this space. Be careful not to touch your eyelid or surrounding area with the dropper tip of the bottle.
RELEASE your eyelid and close your eye gently, then blink to allow the drop to spread around the eye.
BLOT around your eye to remove any excess.
The recommended dose is 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice a day. If you wear contact lenses, wait at least 10 minutes after using Zaditor eye drops before you insert your lenses. If you put the lenses in sooner, your lenses may absorb the preservative in Zaditor.
